Senior Commercial Planning Manager - FMCG Food

Allexo Search is thrilled to partner with a leading FMCG brand in their quest to find a strategic and analytical leader for the role of Senior Commercial Planning Manager. This high-impact position is pivotal in driving growth and innovation within the Convenience channel, a key priority for the business.

As the Senior Commercial Planning Manager, you will be the driving force behind the strategic growth of the Convenience channel, leading initiatives across categories. Your remit will include:

• Strategic Development: Work cross-functionally to shape and execute brand and channel strategies that deliver on sales, profit, and innovation targets.

• Promotional Strategy: Develop and implement promotional strategies, ensuring maximum ROI for each brand category.

• Business Planning: Analyse and influence business forecasts, driving outperformance through collaboration with customer teams.

• NPD Commercialisation: Lead the commercialisation of new product development, ensuring alignment with channel needs and flawless execution.

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes

• Commercial Expertise: Extensive experience in front-line sales/account management, ideally within major multiples.

• Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of P&L with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts simply.

• Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead across multiple senior stakeholders, with excellent communication skills.

• Analytical Skills: A highly analytical mindset, capable of making confident, informed decisions.

Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid working)

Salary: £80,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Bens
