Senior Category Development Manager - FMCG Consumer Healthcare

As Senior Category Development Manager you will:

  • Drive Category Vision: Support the development and execution of a 3-Year Category vision, identifying ways to enhance shopper behaviour and unlock growth opportunities.

  • Collaborate & Execute: Work closely with Account Teams to create and execute bespoke plans that align with customer strategic goals, driving category growth.

  • Deliver Insights: Partner with insight colleagues to develop in-depth shopper understanding, turning data into actionable insights.

  • Maximise Opportunities: Develop strategies that maximise range, distribution, and merchandising opportunities, making the Consumer Healthcare category easier and more engaging to shop.

  • Build Relationships: Own the day-to-day Category relationship with key customers, acting as a trusted advisor and advocating for shopper and category growth.

  • Lead & Develop: Manage and mentor a Category Manager, fostering a category mindset across the business.

  • Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with industry news, retail landscapes, and competitive dynamics to ensure the business maintains a competitive edge.

The ideal candidate will ideally demonstrate the following

  • You have 5+ years of experience in Category Management, with a strong commercial background in the UK FMCG market, including eCommerce.

  • You've demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills, with a focus on delivering results.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, constantly seeking to challenge the status quo and drive innovation.

  • You're a natural collaborator, able to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have experience managing top-tier retail accounts and possess a deep understanding of the retail landscape.

Location: London

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Bonus + Benefits
